Fatima Dahmani, the creator of the award winning project Vestiges says “Redefining Oriental jewelry is not limited to its conventional forms, but also encompasses its aesthetics and inspirational potential. A reinterpretation that is attuned to modern times, the Vestiges cuff appears as though it has been unearthed from an archaeological dig, a jewel that bears the marks of time with patterns filled in by sediments. The underlying hexagonal motif, organized in a six-pointed star, draws inspiration from the stars and the sky, evoking the notion of infinite power as seen in Islamic architectural art.”
